- Mighty Earth filed a complaint on indications of deforestation in PT KHS’s concession.
- Astra Agro Lestari has reached out to the supplier group to clarify the allegations and provide evidence relevant to the case.

- July 2024
- The land clearing occurrence is confirmed by PT KHS. PT KHS explained that the land clearing is urgent due to the obligation of plasma provision to the community and indeed requested by the community.
- Before carrying out the land clearing, PT KHS has completed HCV assessment report in 2020, despite it carried out by non-ALS assessor, the HCV report was reviewed by ALS licensed reviewer.

- Engagement continues with the supplier group working with PT KHS. PT KHS has stated in Moratorium on Land Opening that no land will be opened, including land for plasma plantations, until the HCVN/HCSA assessment and review are complete.
- As of now, AAL’s supplier group still engages with PT KHS and Astra Agro Lestari monitors their progress.
